When can I rent Historic Waverly Mansion for an outdoor event?
The annual outdoor rental season is mid-April through October 31. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are available for outdoor rentals during this time.

What is the capacity of the event tent?

Historic Waverly’s event tent of 60 foot x 40 foot for a total of 2,400 square feet.

What is included in an outdoor rental?
All rentals are granted exclusive use of the mansion, gardens, and grounds. Only one event will be scheduled for the contracted time. Property amenities include:

What is the standard timeline for an 8-hour rental?

Standard 8-hour model:
-
2 hours: Vendor set-up/party preparations
-
1 hour: Guest arrivals and welcome
-
4 hours: Party/Event
-
1 hour: Vendors/Coordinator/Party clean up and guest departure
-

No one arrives on the premises before the contracted start time. All vendors, attendees, and the renters may access the property at the contracted start time to begin preparations.
-
All attendees, vendors, and renters must be off the property at the ending hour of the contract. No exceptions. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit in its entirety.

Where do guests park?

Historic Waverly Mansion provides free on-site parking for all rentals. Guests may park in the gravel lot.

On-site parking is very limited. Carpooling, use of car services (Uber, Lyft), and shuttles are strongly encouraged. ​The permit holder is responsible for any shuttle services for guests. All shuttles must be approved by Waverly Management.

Overnight parking is prohibited.

Can I book Historic Waverly Mansion for photography and/or portrait sessions?

Yes. Historic Waverly Mansion is available for photo shoots Monday through Friday from November through April, and Monday through Thursday from May through October.

Photography Session Pricing:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, select Fridays between 8am and 4pm: $100/hour (1-hour minimum)
-
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, select Fridays between 4pm and 10pm: $125/hour (2-hour minimum)

Security deposit (refundable): 20% of total rental cost

Scheduled events and private rentals take priority when booking.

Can I visit before booking a rental?

Historic Waverly Mansion is not open to the public, aside from scheduled rentals and special events. Tours are given by appointment during normal business hours.
