Outside of scheduled rentals and special events, Historic Waverly Mansion is not open to the public. Rental tours and site visits are offered on select days by appointment only. To schedule a visit, please email WaverlyMD@howardcountymd.gov or call 410-313-0200.
Directions
Historic Waverly Mansion is located at 2300 Waverly Mansion Drive, Marriottsville, Maryland, one minute from Interstate 70, in western Howard County.

From Baltimore and east, take Interstate 70 to exit 83, (Marriottsville Road). Make a right off the exit ramp. Make a right at the first light onto Warwick Way. Make the first left into the mansion’s driveway.
From Frederick and points west, take Interstate 70 east tothe exit for Route 40 East. Make a left at the light onto Marriottsville Road. Make a right at the second light onto Warwick Way. Make the first left into the mansion’s driveway.
Parking
Historic Waverly Mansion has limited parking, which includes
27 gravel spaces. If the barn and lawn are not used for your special event, an additional 28 vehicles can be parked on the grass. We highly recommend the use of shuttle buses and ride sharing for larger events.
Accessibility
Accessibility is a core value of Howard County Government. As such, the exterior of Historic Waverly Mansion is ADA-accessible with parking, a brick paver pathway to the garden/tent, and an ADA-accessible single restroom in our restroom trailer. The pathway also leads to the front door, where the first floor is also ADA-accessible. The remainder of the home, due to its age, is not ADA-accessible.
