About Historic Waverly Mansion

History

Historic Waverly Mansion is a charming early 18th Century home, built circa 1756, which sits on four pristine acres and includes a barn, gated garden, patio, and seasonal tent. It is the sole surviving property of Maryland’s only father/son governors: Colonel John Eager Howard and George Howard. Owned by Howard County Government, it is rented as a wedding and special events venue.
